I did something over the weekend besides watching football. And even more unbelievably, it was - I read a book. Yes, a book, a real one. Specifically, The John Howe Workshop. Looking at John's artwork has a tendency to really deflate my artistic aspirations, particularly since he's working almost entirely in watercolors, which I know from experience is one very tough medium. So this was one intimidating read! (The last fiction book I read, in summer 07 or 08, not sure which, was Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale. Last book of any type was last summer, the Dr Who Encyclopedia. I just don't get much reading time.)
