Catching up on shows...

RIP Pushing Daisies.I highly suspect those last 30 seconds or so were filmed after the show was cancelled and appended to where the episode really ended, Ned & Chuck at the doorway. It did give us a bit of closure, at least, which is more than we often get from a cancelled show. As for the episode itself, did someone dynamite a Crayola factory? Specifically, the neons and brights section? One suspects the set and costume designers were having way too much fun here.I will miss this bizarre, silly, warm-hearted slice of wit.

Speaking of wit, I may be the only one who caught this in Criminal Intent. During the show, at about the 9:17 mark in its original airing, you can see the office clock in the police station. The time on it? 9:17. Nice little touch. Mom has concluded that with regard to Goldblum's character, 'she just wants to kiss him'. Extra funny since Jeff Goldblum really did kiss her once ;)

Lastly, In Plain Sight - Marshall was just too awesome in the office scenes. I felt Lauren should have told Mary who she was, and as she didn't, Jinx and Brandi had darn well better tell her. Poor Raffy. Demoted to laundry duty. Clearly they're having trouble figuring out a way to write him into the show. The actual case was the weakest part of the show.
