Writer's Block: Who's your BFF?

The one friend I've managed to stay in touch with over the years is Dan. We met when I was 11, he was 12, and he got himself banned from riding the school bus in junior high. But we had a mutual friend so we wound up becoming friends anyway, and we still are, 28 years later. Except he moved to the Netherlands last December and I haven't seen him since.
