No More Snow

Never thought I'd say that, but there it is. After wrecking my back & shoulders shovelling the six inches Sunday, tonight we get another 4-6 overnight (and it starts while I'm driving to PT, in evening rush hour. Spiffy.) So I get to shovel again tomorrow, then drag my agonized self to work. Then on Friday...rumor mill has it we're looking at upwards of 20 inches Friday & Saturday. While it's better than on Farpoint weekend, still. I'd like to leave the house someday. And my body really, really needs a break!

This is why I have a 12-year-old neighbor's kid on contract at $8 per hour for any physical labor needed :) - That plus a snow blower makes life a lot easier.

I'm beginning to think the snowblower is a necessity, but I doubt we'll have time to get one before this weekend's blast. We need groceries first!

There are no kids in our neighborhood willing to shovel. The only ones that have come by in the last 5 years were from the city and took a bus to the 'burbs looking for work. Sigh.
