But Isner/Mahut is now up to 61-61. Yeah, you read that right. This match is now on its third day. I somehow suspect neither of them will be good for much tennis for some weeks after this. But in the meantime, um, WOW.

ETA 66-67 now.

It's finally over. Isner won, 70-68. One suspects he won't last long in the second round, he probably can't feel his legs any more.

I watched it streaming from work and I think the people next door heard me cheering. I love Wimbledon.

I just hope that Isner doesn't lose in straight sets for his next round; that'd just be criminal after this.

I read about the commentator. Apparently he's a tennis newbie and this was his first tennis match commentating. The BBC put him on a minor game on an outside court to get some easy practice.
