Shore Leave posted their guests list over the weekend and, well, bleah. The six guests are designed strictly for those who are into Stargate and/or Star Trek. If you like any other fandom, tough tamales. In recent years they've had guests from other fandoms, like BSG, Heroes, Whedonverse, etc but this list is balkanized. At least I won't have any temptation to leave the art show, save a good panel or two.

I'm still debating whether to sign up for the dealer's room and coming or not. To be honest, the more "diverse" guest list in the past few years hasn't don't crap for my sales, so I don't have any real feeling about it that way. Just that they're not getting the top-draw guests that they used to, period.

The business aspect isn't really important to me; it's a media con that I can drive to that's the big draw for me, any sales are a bonus. But the guests are, or were, the best part, and this lineup isn't worth getting in the line, IMHO.
