Supernatural=Lost?

Watched the finales over the last two nights, and there were some interesting parallels/coinky-dinks. Could almost wonder if the respective show-runners knew what the other show was up to...

News From Abroad

My best bud Dan moved to the Netherlands back in December, and I hadn't heard much from him until the last couple weeks, in which he became a legal resident of the Netherlands, started proper Dutch classes (he was conversational in it before he left, but needed more work) and as of yesterday, he has a job. At a coffeehouse. Yes, THAT kind of coffeehouse. He's always, ahem, known his way around the ganja, but for the first time, he has to learn to properly roll a joint. I find this all quite hilarious. And in a fit of irony, his last job in the States was working at my office, with the dogs - said coffeehouse has a resident dog and he thinks a lot of his getting the job was that the dog likes him.

Glad it's all working out for him, changing continents/languages/etc is one heckuva life change.

Bones Finale

I neglected to say something about 'The End in the Beginning'. Or maybe it was just the 'if you can't say anything nice'...thing...

Anyway, the last two eps of 'Bones' did not jump the shark. They did a full gainer with a half twist over a great white.

I might have to pass on Season 5, so much of 4 has stunk. And they were regaining traction there for a while before the last two...nuts.
