It's all about Rachel, no? Definitely picking the filly, mostly because she was just so daggone dominant in the Oaks. Although I could have, I'm not betting on her because let's face it, if she wins I'd get what, a quarter? Big whoop. Anyway, going with Rachel Alexandra, Mine That Bird and General Quarters, in that order.

And I was also amused to see a horse in an earlier race is named Ovechkin. Wonder if he's number 8.

Not Bad

I didn't bet on the filly because she was the favorite...but it never occurred to me to play the exacta with Mine That Bird, which would have paid just under $40. That would have been worth sending a couple dollars to the track with Molly. But a very exciting finish, I must say!
