Something Good

The last three episodes of Pushing Daisies are airing, with the first, 'Window Dressing To Kill', on this weekend. I'd forgotten both how much I enjoy the show and how much work it takes to keep up with the dialogue. It's easily the most difficult to follow dialogue in American television, tougher even than Aaron Sorkin. But by golly they do manage it. The storylines - both of them - were weak, but they did a good job of integrating them so neither seemed as flimsy as it was. I missed Emerson and the coroner so, I didn't realize how much. Nice to see Digby and Pigby, however briefly, and nice to see Richard Benjamin and George Segal, however briefly. Two more. Savor while you can.
