If the power goes off, the alarm settings on your alarm clock may have been reset. (The power has gone off before, but the alarm hadn't reset before.) Check the alarm before a workday when you need to get up in the morning.

One of the few days I've been glad for CJ wanting to get up early!

And always have an alarm with a battery backup and check/replace the battery every so often :)
