Pick A Case, Any Case
Oct. 2nd, 2008 11:41 amIn 'honor' of Sarah Palin being unable to name any Supreme Court case other than Roe v Wade (she was actually asked to name a case she disagreed with, but there's so many you know she would hate if she ever bothered learning about them) post one or more of your favorite Supreme Court decisions to your LJ and say why you like it.
Mine is Loving v Virginia, . This is due in part to Ms Loving having passed earlier this year, and because of its relevance to the current court cases regarding gay marriage. But mostly it's because it was a good decision that struck down laws that mandated hate and discrimination and opened the door for, well, loving.
