Name That Tune
Dec. 11th, 2008 10:16 amWell, technically, Name That Five Tunes. Yup, end of the year lists time. And my station of choice, WTMD, wants to know what the 5 best songs of 2008 were. They put about 200 of them online for sampling and some you can download for free, BTW. ( Da WTMD Top 5 Web Site )
This is both better and worse than their previous lists (they used to want best albums): albums are harder because it takes more time and it's harder to find something that maintains its quality over 10+ songs, but songs are harder because it's a lot easier to make one first-rate song than 10+ of them. Anyway, I've been mulling this for 10 days already and I'm running out of time. Deadline is Sunday.
