Still Not Loving Verizon
Dec. 26th, 2008 09:43 pmCalled T-Mobile this morning about my cell phone bill, which never showed up, and they were most helpful. By the end of the call the bill was paid and all things reset appropriately. Which made Verizon that much more annoying. When I called them, they said the tech never showed on Christmas Eve because 'someone at your number called and cancelled the service'. Right. They called on the number that isn't working. I objected to the non-scheduling before Jan 6 and was told they'd pass the message to a supervisor and call me back. Which meant, of course, that I couldn't leave the house. Six hours later (and having missed a sunny and for December mild day) I gave up and called them again. Did get a supervisor this time, who said there was nothing wrong with the line and walked me through resetting the entire system myself. Dunno what the problem was, but after resetting everything, the phones and the internet were both working. So at least that's over. Still lost a whole day. Well, I watched 8 straight Season 5 eps of NCIS and did some laundry, but other than that a waste.
