My official picks for tomorrow
Jan. 17th, 2009 03:34 pmFirst, the easy one. Eagles over Cardinals. Amazing, though, that the two teams that remain are ones that at least in theory had no business being in the playoffs. Arizona backs in simply by being in the NFL's worst division, and the Eagles get in only because everyone else lost on the final weekend. Go figure.
AFC - that's tough. My heart belongs to the Ravens, obviously. The same Ravens who haven't had a bye week, are banged up and exhausted, have virtually no one on the secondary healthy and not much healthier on the offense. I so want them to win. My head says they can't do it. They couldn't quite beat the Steelers when they were healthy and fresh, doing it now seems darn near impossible. So the upshot here is, I want the Ravens to win. But if you make me put money on it, I have to put on...oh, I can't even type the name, it hurts too much.
