To slowly but surely crawl through my weekend, starting with Friday. I stayed late at work trying to sell FiOS to Tony (haven't asked him yet if I succeeded), then raced first home and then to White Marsh to get Matt Stover's autograph. Traffic and parking made me even later, but Stover showed up half an hour early and started signing when he got there, so the line was moving well before I arrived. Not a long wait. Matt was very chatty and I got some good photos of him. Then home to watch the geek ep of CSI. Very amused to see Ron D Moore leading the lynch mob :)

All Baseball, All The Time
Apr. 20th, 2009 02:39 pmFor one day, at least, it was all about the baseball. It wasn't opening day, but it was Day Two for Frederick and Bowie and the schedule and the weather made a 'do it yourself' doubleheader possible. So I took a bath in SPF 30 sunblock and headed to Frederick.
( The Frederick half )
( The Bowie half )
I left in the 8th again; this time, it was getting cold, plus I had to get up early. When I got home, I summoned up the nerve to look in the mirror, expecting to see a lobster. Nope. No burn at all. A very light tan and that's it. Escaped one disaster!
