A Weekend of Fail
Oct. 12th, 2009 10:12 amYes, I totally failed this weekend...at shopping. Yes, shopping.
Saturday I opted for the Dogfest in Hunt Valley over the dog show in West Friendship. Turned out no one at Dogfest carries the pig ears I'd promised the dogs. And there isn't a Michaels up that way, so no excuse/convenience to go ornament hunting.
Sunday I go to AC Moore looking for Pearl Ex powders, alternate brand markers, wood markers and white glitter. No longer carry, no longer carry, no longer carry and no 'true' white glitter, respectively. Frak. Then to Michaels. They only have a few of my ornaments left, all of which I bought, and I already cleared out the Towson store as well, so I really, really should have hit the Howard County stores Saturday. Now any ornament quests will have to be special trips (gas & tolls, yuck) and driving time that I need for making the ornaments. Spiffy. Then to JoAnn, where glitter was on sale but they had nothing I don't already have, and plastic bins were half off, but of the two types I like for shows, one wasn't available and the other size, they had plenty of bins but a whopping one lid. So just the one bin. And I still have to quest for ornaments and Pearl ex, and possibly the markers. I couldn't have done much worse.
Of course, the Ravens did that part for me, but I digress...
