Purple Friday!
Jan. 15th, 2010 12:41 pmAnd I'm decked out in my 'Purple January' t-shirt, which I picked up on clearance last winter. I've gotten a lot of 'where'd you get that?'s today, but as it's last year's it's a pretty unique shirt. My Ravens jacket over it and I'm quite purple and black for the day.
As for the weekend, my official picks are:
Baltimore @ Indy: Baltimore
NY Jets @ San Diego: San Diego
Dallas @ Minnesota: Dallas
Arizona @ New Orleans: New Orleans
The last one was the toughie and has my lowest degree of confidence. I think that Indy, after one real and 2 figurative weeks off, are going to be rusty and their timing poor tomorrow night. If the Ravens come out swinging like they did with the Patriots, they'll run up the score before Indy even gets sorted. That is my fervent hope, anyway.
