Little Things

I have had very little to say the last several days, at least not when I'm at a computer and have a few minutes. Not sure if it's exhaustion, depression, both or neither. A couple of quickies, however:

CJ decided on a sneak attack against me this morning. She picked a step on the basement stairs that had shelves in front of it so she couldn't be seen until it was too late. Except for that part about her nonstop tail wagging, it was a good plot. But I could hear the 'whop whop whop' long before I got to the stairs :)

Monday's Hawaii-50 included a moment where two cops, having seen a man slip a roofie into a woman's drink, forced him to drink his roofie cocktail. (There was also an airhorn involved but that's beside the point.) Would that that would always happen to such creeps.

Heard a song by a new band yesterday - the song was called 'Zerbing'. No, I'm not kidding. Speaking of new bands, I've gotten it into my head that a good name for a band would be 'Flag on the Play'. And speaking of football, glad to see they're going to enforce head shots in the NFL now. But I wish they would have started with this Brandon Meriweather jerk, instead of just fining him, as he was so clearly trying to injure.

More Little Things

Garlic - it gets into everything. Clothes, trash can, the fridge, drinks...how can something that healthy be so danged pervasive?

Southern Pecan coffee creamer does not quite work with Mudslide coffee.

When the postman brings a small amount of mail for the day, I don't think it's a light day. I think, 'Oh swell, who did he give all of our mail to?' And I'm right about 80% of time.
