Well, Nuts

The Maryland House of Delegates, instead of taking a vote on making gay marriage legal in Maryland, tabled the bill by sending it back to committee. The bill had passed the Senate and had the full support of the Governor, so it seemed possible it would pass this year. Nuts.

On the other hand, it came so close this year...I gotta think it becomes law next year. For all my gay friends and for the overall concept of fairness, I sure hope so.
