Inception (No Spoilers)

Now, I'm a fan of Christopher Nolan. I love the Batman flicks, Memento and especially The Prestige. Generally I understand what he's up to and how he's going about it.
In the case of Inception - exactly what part of this was supposed to make any sense whatsoever? Because whatever part it was, I neither found it nor understood it. Ick.
