Knocked two more films of the list, both historically based. I actually did see 'Bridge on the River Kwai' before, in college, so +/- 25 years ago. I remembered only the oven and the final resolution. I spent much of today on Wikipedia researching the movie, the Death Railway, the USS Houston and eventually Krakatoa before I finally tore myself away. Probably repeating that process tomorrow when I look up 'Cabaret' - it would have helped if I'd known the movie was set in 1931, I knew it was the 30's but not specifically when, so I kept waiting for Hitler to show up. Either way I imagine I'll spend some of tomorrow refreshing my memory on the Weimar Republic.

Oh, and I also watched the 'Watchmen' yesterday. It was on basic cable, so the big blue was a big blur. Too bad, because Greg Plitt's physique was about the only thing I liked about the movie.
