OK, Seriously?

What the frak is the deal with all the sales calls? The phone's been going about 4x normal today, and half of them are sales calls. Most of those are completely cold calls. All in one day. What is this, National Cold Call A Business Just To Annoy Them Day?

Oh, when I'm at home I'm pretty creative at getting rid of them. But I'm supposed to be polite about it at work. "Not interested, take us off the list." Which they won't do...and we're not supposed to be on it in the first place...eesh.

I'm not rude, for example Double Glazing salespeople will often start "We're not trying to sell you double glazing but would you be interested in ..."

At which point I'll explain that's a terrible shame as I'm currently looking to buy double glazing so I need someone who is looking to sell it to me. Then hang up.
