I Voted!...?

Yep, Maryland decided to experiment with allowing people to vote early. First run - letting people vote last week and this week, rather than on Tuesday which is the actual primary voting day. As Mom is having surgery on the 16th, and the Ravens are on Monday Night Football, I figured it would be easier to go vote early then get up after MNF. Today is Rosh Hashanah, so I have the day off, and today was thus elected. Ha. Anyway, I was wondering if I'd see the Honeygo Community Center, as I haven't been there before. It wasn't a problem. The place is absolutely wallpapered with political signs. Yuck. Then you get out of your car and pow, electioneers all over you. I blew off one with 'half the point of voting early is to avoid you'. On my way back out, I overheard her talking to another voter. She wasn't an electioneer. She was the candidate. For Judge. Way to go, lawyer's secretary, you blew off a judge. At least, it took less than 10 minutes for the whole process, I'm done, and her Honor doesn't know who I am. Phew.
Oh, and I managed to sell the Meerschaum pipes today, on only my second stop and for more than I expected. I figured if I was offered $50, I'd take it. The guy said sorry, the best I can do is $60. Yeah, grabbed that. Interestingly enough, this was at a head shop. And the owner is really into glass-blowing. Doesn't blow the most legal of things, but wowies, does he blow well. No two pipes were alike, in shape or color, and he likes playing with both. Very nice stuff. I'll keep the place in mind should I ever want a custom glass piece.
