Snow, Snow, Oh No

We picked up another 10"+ overnight, all wet and heavy. We gave up and paid the landscapers a high sum to shovel it all off, so I could get to the doctors office. He thinks I need a joint replacement in my index finger. Oh joy. For a last ditch avoidance of surgery, I now have a custom brace on my hand. WIth which I can't type, so it's off for the moment. Did get the day off work, but I was already wide awake then so it didn't do much good. So instead of working, we're watching movies. 'In The Loop' was up first, I still haven't quite followed what the heck was going on in terms of the politics but it was very funny. Lemon funny. We're on 'The Flying Scotsman' now - crash course in cycling, but nice to see Billy Boyd and Laura Fraser.

Meanwhile, CJ has apparently learned English. I told her if she understood me, to give her Grandma a big kiss. She went straight to Mom and planted a big wet one on her. She can be so smart when she wants to...
