It has arrived. I am, of course, speaking of my 'stimulus check', which in my reality is an electronic deposit and in the greater picture is a really bad idea born of political pandering that won't help the economy and will drive the US further into debt.
So comes the big question: what to do with it? Spend it on retail items and 'boost the economy', or save it/pay bills and boost my economy? I'm planning to split the difference and do neither. I've made an appointment for my dog C.J. next week at the vet for her annual checkup and booster shots, which will take up a goodly chunk, and I expect the balance will be going to my eye doctor as I'm pretty sure I need a new prescription for my glasses. Heck, I hope $600 will cover those two things!
