Time Won't Give Me Time

So I'm watching Lost's premiere, and trying very hard to wrap my mind around all the time travel, and then I realize - most of the shows I watch and enjoy are reliant, all or part of the time, to some degree on time travel or time shifting. I suppose that begs the 'chicken or the egg' argument - do I watch them because they use time in odd ways, or because they're good? Are they good because they mess with time, or in spite of that? Great. More headaches.
Shows (2007-2009) I watch that are completely or mostly reliant on time travel/shifts:
Cold Case
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Heroes
Life on Mars
Damages
Lost
Dr Who
Battlestar Galactica
Journeyman
Shows (2007-2009) I watch that are reliant on time travel/shifts part of the time:
Supernatural
Torchwood
The Sarah Jane Adventures
Moonlight
Pushing Daisies
Mad Men
