Supernatural=Lost?

Watched the finales over the last two nights, and there were some interesting parallels/coinky-dinks. Could almost wonder if the respective show-runners knew what the other show was up to...
Both shows normally end with a white text on black credit/logo shot. For the finales, both shows ended with black text on white.
Both shows involved a powerful figure goading a major character into killing them in order to fulfill some larger plan. Although in SPN it was evil tempting good, but Lost appears to be good tempting evil, pending whether Jacob is in fact good. All evidence seems to say he is.
Both featured a major character flip-flopping allegiances every other minute (Juliet & Castiel.)
Both were greatly concerned with something dangerous trapped underground.
There's probably more but I'm too tired/headachy to come up with them at the moment.
