I have been to the Holocaust Museum. I have been on an airplane. Both happened after 9/11.

It was easier to get on the airplane.

How the bleep do you get a gun into the Holocaust Museum? 

ETA: The guard died. The shooter is a supremacist. It just keeps getting worse.

From what I can tell this happened right at the entrance, before security is even cleared...

WaPo is reporting the shooter was 88 years old, so that may have been part of it. The elderly don't set off the alert alarm in security quite like the younger set.

Apparently he only made it past the building entrance where no security is really in play and started shooting. Getting a gun past the front door is easy in any facility, getting it past the scanners is the issue.
