1. Going on vacation. Because I haven't. In years.

2. Gilmour, David. With the exception of Mark Knopfler, far and away my alltime favorite guitarist.

3. Genesis. I'm only a moderate fan of the band, but I do enjoy them. My brother and best friend are both obsessed with the band. And they were just on WTMD's countdown.

4. Great Pyrenees. I wish I had the physical and logistical wherewithall to have a big dog, because I love this breed. Ever so mellow big fellows, we have a half GP in the office and he's a perfect dog.

5. Gouda cheese. Love a good smoked gouda. That's a gouda.

6. George Carlin. I miss his genius and his sarcasm, his wit and intelligence. He was a great one.

7. Gallagher. I was a big fan in the day, to the extent I saw him at the Meyerhoff and had to wear a trash bag. Still picked mango seeds out of my hair for days after. Laughed my backside off, I did.

8. Galaxy Quest. Speaking of laughing my backside off...I think I know some of these people ;)

9. Games. Football, minor league baseball, ice hockey; or Monopoly, Scrabble, Can't Stop, etc. Game night is a good night.

10. Galactica. Cheating slightly here, as I of course mean BSG, the modern version, and all of the awesomeness that it was.

I'm a moderate Genesis fan as well! I still love their self-titled album, introduced to me by one of the ex-boyfriends I remember with a smile (he was from Asbury Park, NJ, and loved "Home By the Sea")

And PYRS! I love Great Pyrs too, even if I would get a Bernese Mt. Dog if I got a big 'un. I've loved Pyrs ever since I watched Belle and Sebastian where the kid RODE one :)

Galaxy Quest - man oh man was that funny. You can see the nitpickers and the fanfickers and "At least he's outside." That's one of my 'background noise' DVDs, a movie I can quote forwards and backwards while I'm doing whatever and be able to look up at the TV when I want the funny moments.

Berners are another breed I'd like if I could handle a big dog. Also Terv and GSD. My mother, however, has a longstanding affection for Great Danes.
