Freaks & Geeks

Headed off to the Balticon post-con party later today, after a rare and miraculous instance of me cooking (banana bread, mine specialty) but I had promised some thoughts on 'Freaks & Geeks' after I finished the series, so here goes.
I did see a few episodes of it originally, but the off/on/change the day & time scheduling inflicted by NBC managed to drive me away. I picked up the full set last year and we finally watched it over the last couple weeks. I keenly remembered a few scenes - Lindsay laughing at Daniel's 'routine', Neil searching for his father's mistress' garage, Bill drunk - which is unusual for me with a show I saw once 10 years ago. A good sign. This time around? Enjoy the spot-on depiction of the lower echelons of high school. I'm three years younger than the 'geeks' and went to high school in the suburbs of a large blue collar city, so really the only difference between the kids on the show and my own teenhood was MTV. I can guarantee you the geeks didn't get anywhere near as much attention from non-geek girls as they do on the show, but it's otherwise perfect. I felt for nearly every character nearly all the time, although Kim really tried my patience most of the time.
Now that I've watched it, I have my theories as to what would have happened in Season 2. Feel free to add your own predictions.
Lindsay: Drops out completely and becomes a stoner.
Sam: Swears off girls. Doesn't last long.
Neil: Becomes the school mascot. His parents divorce.
Bill: Mr. Fredericks moves in. Bill tries out for baseball.
Daniel: Becomes a D&D geek. Finally graduates.
Kim: Meets someone on the Dead tour and stays with him.
Nick: Forced to join the Army, he washes out in boot camp. He moves back in with the Weirs.
Mrs. Weir: Gets a job outside the house and loves it.
Mr. Weir: The store struggles. He kicks out Lindsay.
