gonzai1. We have a jar opener gadget. Use it, for cryin' out loud, instead of further injuring an arthritic hand trying to open the danged thing.
2. We have an electric sander. See above.
3. When purchasing wood plaques for burning, don't just look to see it's not dirty, cracked or full of knots. Don't take plaques that are pine, or have a lot of grain. They're 10 times harder to burn than softer wood, the sap catches on fire and it's impossible to make straight lines.
Yeah, my hand is killing me this morning. But at least the plaques are (almost) done, just need a coat of finish.
