What they did was wrong, which was why they were fired when it was found out. Unless the library changes its mind, I don't get what the big outcry is about. I would understand it if they *weren't* fired and the library was defending them, but it's/they're not. Lots of people do horrible stuff and then get fired for it.

I think the outcry here is from their fellow Puritans, upset that they were fired/such a book was available at the library. But I bet the same folks wouldn't want the library staff snooping through their personal records!
