A Football Observation

I noticed yesterday, and haven't seen it mentioned at all, but:

Of the 4 pairs of teams which will play each other this coming weekend, 3 of those pairs played each other in a regularly scheduled game the last week of the season. These teams will play each other twice in 6-7 days. I can see how that might happen for one matchup a year, but it seems to me that it happening three times in the same year is very weird.

(Philadelphia @ Dallas and Green Bay @ Arizona repeat exactly; NJ Jets @ Cincinnati is same matchup, but switching home/away.)

It was almost 4 for 4 but the Ravens won.

There could have been a Houston/New England review, indeed. Although I think for that to happen, the Jets would have to have lost. It's all confusing.
