Shore Leave: The Beginning

( Friday, the art show )
( Friday, the fun ), who was flying solo for the first time. She was being plied with much friendship and whiskey and was doing quite well.
Final adventure of the night: the USS Chesapeake. They were having a public party and all were invited; I probably would get an invite even if it was private though, I know them all and we can talk each others' ears off. Which we did, first at the Dollhouse panel and then later on along with several newbies who'd never been to a con before and wandered in because they didn't know where else to find a party. They found a lot of new friends, I guarantee. At 12:30 I headed home, mostly because I didn't realize it was that late, but stayed up until 2am trying to find/make rainbow Torchwood decals. Unsuccessfully.
ETA I've edited the cut on this entry seven times now and it WILL NOT include the last paragraph. I'm getting very frustrated.
