One Cure For Cabin Fever

So my mother has barely left the house in over two weeks. Now, to me, the best way to get past being sick of looking at the walls would be to get out of the house. Not her. Her fix is to change the walls. Literally. She hired a guy to come in, rip the walls out of the living room, re-insulate, re panel and repaint the whole thing. Among the other things she overlooked: with the awning still down and the back way still snowed in, if the living room is taken over by construction, we can't get in and out of the house. The only way to my bedroom/CJ's crate is through the living room. The TV is in the living room. Looks like I'll have to unplug the DVR and not watch TV for at least a week, which will not be fun, esp since I can't record for later. And I'm stumped as to how I'm supposed to get to my bed and to my car. The only thing important to me that will still be accessible is the computer. Spiffy.

And oh, let's not forget the heavy objects I've been moving all weekend with the already sore shoulders. I am unamused.
