When I first saw this, I thought surely it's The Onion. But unfortunately, it's real. And somehow this league only seeking franchises in the Southeast and Deep South just cements the whole thing.

As the comments indicate, the 'gentleman' starting this up is a leader in the KKK and more likely than not this is a publicity/controversy generating maneuver more than an actual business endeavor (the dollar amount makes me think so as well, unless they have a deep pocket in the background).

Fortunately, it seems most of the commenters are aware of what it truly is.
