Home now, and probably not leaving the house again until Monday, maybe not until Tuesday! Present forecast is for 22-28 inches of snow today and tomorrow. 28 inches is the record for the area. We have plenty of food, ice melt, shovels and brooms. Time to cocoon.

The office was closing early, and the boss had me come in at 8 instead of 9 with the intent of sending me home even earlier, as I'm the lone non-4-wheel driver. So I'm half asleep. Hopefully getting a few things done on the computer re artwork for Farpoint before I doze off.

Supernatural was booted last night by a basketball game. Basketball, booooo! Want show!

You guys are SO LUCKY that your offices close when that crap comes. We got 2 feet one day a couple years ago and had to work our normal hours!

This is only the 5th time we've topped 20 inches in over 100 years, so we don't have the equipment or manpower to clear the streets. And the snow budget was blown back in December. Yikes!

We definitely have the manpower and the equipment but they don't always do the best job. Some places are much better than others so you might drive through one town and there's 6 inches still on the roads and the next is salted and just wet.

But we're definitely more prepared for it than other areas. We're at about our average snowfall for the year (73 inches so far) but it's been a pretty lame winter up here. It's been CRAZY other places. Stay warm and safe!
