Winding Down

Just returned from Alphabet Soup, where I learned two new games ('Pandemic!' and 'Social Class') and landed somewhere in the middle on Stone Age and Ticket to Ride: 1910. And got a good pizza. Not a bad day. On the way home, I heard a song on the radio that had me laughing so hard I almost ran off the road. I gotta find this thing (it wasn't on ITunes), it was by a Les Barker and called 'Detritus'. My favorite line was "All is not lost. But I haven't seen it lately." A beaut. Now for Bill Maher, and perhaps some of the Life documentary.

Not a huge Pandemic fan... Social Class is always fun.

I still have yet to play Stone Age.

Social Class was the wrapup - somehow I managed to go from King to lowest Scum in 3 turns. Stone Age is not a bad game but it takes a while.

(There will be Social Class every night at Balticon, 10pm until the players feel like quitting. Part of the Hal tribute.)
