Where 7 of the 8 loonies proceed to request a federal public defender for their defense. Got that? A public defender. Paid for by that government they so detest. What hypocrites. If they weren't stupid they'd be imbeciles. Frankly, if you're campaigning against the government, I don't think you should be permitted a public defender. Scrape up the pennies left over after you bought the Uzis and hire a private attorney, but we ain't paying for you.

I'm sure the logic being that when they're convicted, they can martyr themselves on the crappy defense the public defender gave them.

Although, knowing the area, that's granting them more brains than they probably have.

I believe they see it as their right--even if they rail against the government for making services available, they justify their use of those services because, hey, they pay taxes, don't they? Even as they plan the overthrow of the government due to taxation they feel to be unfair.

It's a vicious cycle, folks!
