The Michigan GOP plans to challenge any voter whose home address has been foreclosed upon.

Among other problems (and I work for a law office where we do foreclosures) half the time filing a foreclosure magically causes the money to appear. Or a bankruptcy filing. Or lengthy negotiations. In any event people can and do continue to live in the home, making it their legitimate address. Also a problem: Michigan's foreclosure rate is through the roof, and most of the ones losing their homes? Black. Gee, what a coincidence.
I'm particularly perturbed because the law firm mentioned in the article is my office's Michigan counsel. Great.I have to work with these jerks.
ETA: Or not. Apparently our firm severed ties with theirs earlier this year, for reasons the higher ups won't tell me. A little relief, at least.
