97. As in 97%. As in, OSHA records show that of all the major, 'willful' safety violations committed by major oil companies in the last several years, BP committed 97% of the violations. (That's out of nearly 800 violations.) I guess then the surprise about the oil spill is not that it happened, but that it hasn't happened 10 times already.
