gonzai | My Baby Blue's Broken

That is, today, my new car, just 7 months old and still my Baby Blue, was T-boned by another car on the way home from work. As near as I can tell I'm allright (my back hurts all the time, so I'm not sure there's any difference) but the Mazda is not. The front passenger door is a total loss, and I'll probably have to have the window and the rear passenger door replaced as well. The terrified 18 year old who hit me had a license & registration but no insurance; the cops wouldn't take a report as there were no injuries and both cars were driveable, but I do have two witnesses who stopped and gave me their business cards. I'll take Baby Blue to the Mazda body shop tomorrow for an estimate, and if I don't hear from junior or his papa by tomorrow there will be hell to pay. And me.
