So, I don't hear from Daddy and leave a bunch of messages for Junior. Junior finally calls back - Daddy has refused to pay for the repairs and told Junior to give me the insurance information, which he does. After spending the better part of an hour on the phone with Encompass Insurance (whose telephone reps, Willie & Ray, were both very nice and helpful) Encompass will accept full liability pending their insured's statement. And since I provided the names and phone numbers of two witnesses, even if the insured denies everything, Encompass will check with the witnesses and then accept liability anyway. The body shop should have an OK by tomorrow and I may even get a rental car out of the deal.
