gonzaiI heard a couple songs on the radio last night and they immediately struck me as good vidding songs. Which is a bit odd, as I don't vid (I barely have time for doing fan art, I'm not learning a new form!) and I don't usually think of songs in terms of vidding.
But I've never encountered a vid done to any Jayhawks song, and I haven't found a vid for Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip , but the Jayhawks' 'I'm Gonna Make You Love Me' struck me as a good match. Happy, romantic pop fluff on the surface, with an underlying layer of creepy stalkerism. Works for the dysfunctional 'ships on Studio!
The other was Nik Kershaw's 'Wouldn't It Be Good', which I haven't heard in years. I'm an 80's girl, sue me. Couldn't help thinking of Moonlight and in particular, Mick St. John's unease with his own existence. As I'm a non-shippy fan, a vid of just Mick & his struggle to that song would be most excellent :)
