Should Shoulders Squish?

The orthopedist decided to give me a cortisone shot in the shoulder this morning. On the one hand, it's the first time he put it in the front of my shoulder instead of the back. On the other, it's the first time my shoulder has squished, bubbled and sloshed whenever my arm moves in certain directions. I really don't think shoulders should make those sounds, but I've never had a shoulder capsule full of fluid either. Kinda icky.

Did they have you lean forward and gently move your arm in a circle to help distribute the "medicine?"

Not that I don't believe in cortisone, that's just the way my Dear Dithering Osteopath always says it "medicine".

Nope, they've never had me do something like that. I'll give that a try.
