Is That a Light or a Train?

The suckage of 2016 has continued, with my foot still hurting, job insanity, weather, etc. Last week a couple not so bad things happened - won $40 in the lotter, won the first two rounds of playoffs in trivia (although reverted to mediocrity in the finals), and my job finally became permanent as of Friday. On the other hand, I'm starting from scratch, with the last 5 months not counting for anything. So I still have no personal or sick time, much less vacation, and boy do I need one. A week to sleep/stay off my foot, and a week for errands and housecleaning. Yeah. That'd be good. Never happen, of course. I'd settle on one day for errands. And my foot not hurting.
