Post-Balticon Stuff

gonzaiBlog entry, take two. I wrote a lengthy essay about my adventures the last two days and when I tried to post it, the whole computer crashed. (Expletive deleted)

Sunday, I picked up a new toy - a portable hard drive. 'Chompin' Bubble Gum', the company calls it. Right. But it's so easy to use and so handy, I'm in love already. The Balticon video guy copied some stuff to it for me and I'm busily burning it to DVD; the Torchwood ep looks awesome!
It was too beautiful to go to Balticon again Monday, so I took Mom to a Baysox game. 82, clear, with a light breeze. Awesome. Competitive game, nice folks, great day and I won a handful of scratchoff lottery tickets.
Then to our favorite restaurant for dinner, Christophers. Who were closed (frak). We tried another place, Kauffman's, but we were in a room with a crab feast group who brought 5 kids aged 1 to 4 and let them run wild. Not an enjoyable way to eat dinner.
Yesterday, CJ returned from her morning romp covered in blood. She didn't seem to be hurt, and neither did Roxie. Turns out not only did CJ catch a rabbit, she killed and ate it 8-0 Which wouldn't bother me quite so much if there wasn't blood on my clothes and the carpet now...yick.
