So Far, So Bad

I am not having a good day. CJ rolled in the mud, and cleaning her up took long enough to make me run late. There was a bad accident on the route I take to work, so I took an alternate - and hit every single light red. We're talking about 25 of them. So I was late to work.
In 90 minutes, 5 people have come to the door, 4 faxes have come in, 1 person working remotely has run out of paper and I couldn't help her because the boss needed help finding a file for the 3rd time this morning and I'm not familiar with her printer so I couldn't figure out how to restart it, I've taken over a dozen calls, half of them from crazy people, and that doesn't count the business that called us for the 5th time in a week despite our demands to have our number removed from their list. These are calls from clients wanting to know why we haven't sent out a letter (we aren't licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, where the debtor lives, and we've told them that repeatedly) and wanting to know why a complaint wasn't filed (because the copy of the contract they sent was unreadable and they haven't responded to 3 requests in 2 weeks for a legible copy). They're debtors who think they should be paid off by now, but they still owe over $16,000. People who refuse to give their names or what they're calling about. It was an hour before I even got a chance to go potty this morning. And now there's a guy mowing outside the office. Lovely sound when the nerves are already raw. And I'm supposed to pay them, but I don't have a petit cash account, so am I supposed to pay them from my personal funds? Can I go home now?
