The idea of a having a 'state rock song' is pretty stupid. Rejecting it because you don't like a band member's t-shirt is...unbelievably stupid. And I say this even though I'm a Flaming Lips fan (acquired 'The Soft Bulletin' yesterday, in fact) and 'Do You Realize' is one of my favorite songs, period.
