Er, rather, beware the stamp of a Maryland Notary Public. Finally got that renewed today. First the State never sent me the renewal, then they didn't answer phone calls or e-mails, so I reapplied from scratch, the notary expired, finally got notice it was renewed, went to the courthouse and paid to park, turned out the courts were closed that day, they just hadn't bothered to make that public knowledge, went again today, couldn't find the right floor or office for the life of me, finally found it and it took maybe 2 minutes to do the whole thing. They didn't even ask me for ID.

Glad it's done.
